The Dallas Cowboys are coming off a Thanksgiving Day loss to the Las Vegas Raiders and overall, losers of three of their last four. On Monday, Dallas released their Monday injury report before facing the New Orleans Saints.

Cowboys vs Saints injury report

Did Not Practice – Cowboys: Wide receiver Cedrick Wilson (ankle)

Wide receiver Cedrick Wilson was the only Dallas Cowboy on the 53 man roster to not practice on Monday. He is dealing with an ankle injury suffered against the Raiders.

Dallas is thin as it is at wide receiver, being without Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb last week. Losing Wilson would be a huge storyline for Dak Prescott and the offense.

Limited Participation – Cowboys: Defensive end Tarell Basham (chest)

Defensive end Tarell Basham was the only player limited in practice, dealing with a chest issue. He sustained the injury on Turkey Day after recording a sack and forced fumble.

Full Participation – Cowboys: Running back Ezekiel Elliot (ankle), Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb (concussion)

Two of the Cowboys’ best offensive players were full participants on Monday in running back Ezekiel Elliot and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb.

Elliot, who reportedly was considering taking the week off to rest, has been dealing with an ankle injury for some time. He was asked about it on Sunday, with the running back saying he is going to play against New Orleans.

“I’ve been dealing with it for almost two months now. I think it has gotten better. It does get stiff, but I have different methods to work that out on the sideline,” Elliott said, citing heating wrap as one of the methods. He then clarified that the Cowboys’ coaching staff has not forced him to rest it or take it easy, saying “no one has brought it up to me.”

Lamb too will be playing on Thursday. He suffered a concussion just before halftime against the Kansas City Chiefs and missed the Thanksgiving matchup. The wide receiver talked about how he dealt with the injury on Monday.

“A head injury is nothing to play with,” Lamb said when speaking with the media on Monday. “Obviously I wanted to be in there.”

“I wasn’t feeling like myself, kind of something still lingering around,” Lamb said. “I couldn’t describe what it was and I knew at that moment I wasn’t mentally nor physically prepared.”
