The Dallas Cowboys have their injury report available from Wednesday’s practice ahead of their playoff matchup with the San Francisco 49ers. Running back Tony Pollard was a full participant in practice this week after sitting out last week’s game with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Cowboys vs 49ers injury report

Did Not Practice – Cowboys: CB Nahshon Wright(Personal)

Limited Participation – Cowboys: LT Tyron Smith(Knee/Ankle), LB Keanu Neal(Chest/Elbow), TE Sean McKeon(Neck), S Israel Mukuamu(Hamstring), LB Francis Bernard(Groin)

Full Participation – Cowboys: RB Tony Pollard(Foot)

Pollard is coming off of a foot injury that didn’t keep him from practice last week before the end of the season. The Cowboys made the call last week to rest him an extra week before the playoffs and sat him for the final regular season game. The decision may have paid off as the Cowboys won easily with Pollard not available and he is now fully participating in practice heading into the playoffs.

Tyron Smith and Micah Parsons were both activated from the COVID-19 list this week and will be returning to the team. Joining them is cornerback Trevon Diggs, who missed last week’s game with an illness. While Parsons and Diggs appear to be fully ready, Smith is still dealing with injury on his end. While Dallas doesn’t expect Smith to be out on Sunday, his injury would be something to watch during the game.

Micah Parsons gives COVID-19 update

“I had some fatigue and some muscle aches,” Parsons said of his COVID-19 recovery. “I feel great [now]. I got a whole bunch of rest. I like the way I came off our last bye week, so hopefully I can follow that.”

The Cowboys rested several players who were dealing with injuries or tested positive for COVID-19 last week, giving them an additional week to heal up for the playoffs. Parsons’ return will be a major boost to the Cowboys’ defense in all facets, as the star rookie has seen playing time all over the field.

Defensive coordinator Dan Quinn has used Parsons as a traditional linebacker, edge rusher and coverage defender this season. Parsons has 13 sacks and three forced fumbles on the season while becoming known for his speed as a pass rusher. In addition to his pass rushing efforts, Parsons has 84 tackles on the season, including 20 tackles for a loss.
