ESPN direct-to-consumer bundle price revealed

ESPN announced its price for the direct-to-consumer bundle. The network said that all of its programming will be offered to consumers for $29.99 per month without the requirement of a traditional cable or streaming service. It was also revealed that the ESPN direct-to-consumer bundled with Disney+ and Hulu will be $39.99 per month.
The release date for the direct-to-consumer bundle, which is called “ESPN,” will be announced later this summer. If a fan subscribes to the main ESPN from the standalone ESPN direct-to-consumer, they will receive all the programming from ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNews, ESPNU, ESPN+ and its college league networks, including the SEC Network and ACC Network.
Existing subscribers of ESPN+ will automatically become subscribers of ESPN’s new service based on their current subscription level. Standalone ESPN+ subscribers get the ESPN select plan, which is $11.99 per month.
“We are providing everything ESPN has to offer directly to fans and all in one place,” ESPN chairman Jimmy Pitaro said in a press release. “As we thought about the name, we kept returning to the fact that, across every generation, ESPN is the most trusted, loved and recognized name in sports, and that we should keep it simple and double down on the power of ESPN.
