Five-star Michigan RB target Savion Hiter sets commitment date

Five-star Mineral (Va.) Louisa County running back Savion Hiter is set to announce his commitment on August 19, he announced via Instagram.
Hiter has a final four of Georgia, Ohio State, Michigan and Tennessee.
Michigan and Tennessee have generated the most buzz as of late. The two school have pushed hard for Hiter throughout the cycle and are continuing to have positive conversations with the talented ball carrier ahead of his decision.
Michigan running backs coach Tony Alford has been recruiting Hiter dating back to his time at Ohio State. The two have a strong relationship and are in regular contact. Hiter made his official visit to Michigan on June 13 and ended his summer schedule with a trip to Tennessee on June 20.
“I feel like I’m a priority for (Michigan),” Hiter told The Wolverine this offseason. “They are a big program for running the ball. You saw it this year. They have a history of great running backs coming out of there like Blake Corum, who is from Virginia. I could see myself running in a Michigan jersey.”
At 5-foot-11, 200 pounds, Hiter is ranked as the No. 1 running back and No. 8 overall recruit nationally, per the Rivals Industry Ranking.
