Gators Online Show: NFL Draft recap, Desmond Claude visits UF
Welcome to the Gators Online Show! For episode 126, we discuss the NFL Draft, Florida’s top 2026 prospects, Desmond Claude visiting and more UF hoops.
The show opens with a recap of the 2025 NFL Draft. Florida had seven players selected and five more sign undrafted free agent deals. We break down at how those rookies will fit in with their new teams and some of the Gators to watch for next year’s draft.
Keith Niebuhr and I then review the latest mock draft projections for the 2025 NBA Draft, which features three UF players. We also react to the news of forward Thomas Haugh returning for his junior season and what his role will be in 2025-26.
We wrap up the show with the latest on USC transfer Desmond Claude, who is officially visiting Florida this week. We discuss the Gators’ chance with him and project what their 2025-26 roster and starting lineup could look like next season.
