Joey Logano, Ryan Blaney meet with President Donald Trump in Oval Office

Joey Logano and Ryan Blaney were among the Team Penske contingent that attended the White House and met with President Donald Trump on Wednesday. Logano and Blaney, the last two NASCAR Cup Series champions, shared the Oval Office with Trump for a photo-op.
Also on hand were Roger Penske, NASCAR commissioner Steve Phelps, 2024 Indy 500 champion Josef Newgarden and 24 Hours of Daytona champions Felipe Nasr and Laurens Vanthoor.
Jerry Jordan of Kickin’ The Tires first reported that Logano would be attending in celebration of his 2024 Cup Championship. Logano, 34, is the first NASCAR champion to visit the White House since May 2019, when Logano himself met with Trump in recognition of his 2018 Championship. Then, he was joined by Penske and his wife Brittany.
The Team Penske champions were introduced to Charles R. Schwab, founder and chairman of the Charles Schwab Corporation. “This is Charles Schwab. It’s not just a company, it’s actually an individual and he made $2.5 billion today,” Trump said, via Margo Martin, special assistant to the president and communications advisor.

President Donald Trump welcomes Joey Logano, Team Penske to White House
Trump, sworn into office for his second term in January, made an appearance at the Daytona 500 in February. Trump did a flyover in Air Force One over Daytona International Speedway and took a lap around the racetrack in “The Beast.”
Logano is a three-time Cup Series champion after his latest triumph at Phoenix this past November. Despite having an average finish of 17.1 — the worst of any driver in a Championship-winning season — Logano won four races, three coming throughout the 10-race postseason. Logano has simply mastered the elimination style playoff format, adopted back in 2014.
Logano currently sits ninth in the points standings eight races through the 2025 season. He has led 260 laps, third most among drivers. Blaney is seventh, still looking for his first win of the season like Logano.
