The NFL suspended former Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker for the first 10 weeks of the 2025 season on Thursday following an investigation into alleged sexual misconduct. The kicker’s representation called the move “disappointing” in a statement.

Tucker, though, will reportedly honor the NFL’s decision at the behest of his representation. Still, he lamented the ultimate conclusion the league came to.

“We are disappointed with the NFL’s decision,” a statement from Justin Tucker’s representative Rob Roche read, shared by ESPN’s Adam Schefter. “Justin has always strived to carry himself in a way that would make his family and community proud. He stands by his previous statements.”

Since the allegations of sexual misconduct first emerged, the NFL has been investigating Tucker’s conduct. That investigation ultimately landed Tucker with a 10-week suspension.

But rather than fight the league on the suspension, Justin Tucker appears ready to accept it and move on. To wit, Roche said the following:

“In order to put this difficult episode behind him and get back on the field as soon as possible, we have advised Justin to accept this resolution and close this matter,” Roche’s statement read. “The people who know Justin best know his character and understand that while he remains fully committed to excellence as a football player, he is deeply dedicated to his most important lifetime roles as a father, husband, and friend.”

Tucker’s alleged infractions came to light with a report in The Baltimore Banner. Since The Baltimore Banner‘s initial report, 10 other women have come forward with accusations against Tucker. The five-time First-Team All-Pro denied the allegations leveled at him by the women in The Baltimore Banner‘s story.

“The allegations in The Baltimore Banner article about me are unequivocally false,” Justin Tucker’s statement at the time read. “Throughout my career as a professional athlete, I have always sought to conduct myself with the utmost professionalism.

“I have never before been accused of misconduct of any kind, and I have never been accused of acting inappropriately in front of a massage therapist or during a massage therapy session or during other bodywork. I have never received any complaints from a massage therapist, have never been dismissed from a massage therapy or bodywork session, and have never been told that I was not welcome at any spa or other place of business.”

On3’s Grant Grubbs also contributed to this report.
