LSU alums, Bengals stars connect for game-tying touchdown

Former LSU stars Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase connected for a third quarter touchdown against the Kansas City Chiefs to tie the game at 21-21. After winning a national championship together at LSU, the Cincinnati Bengals stars are hoping to play for a Super Bowl next month against either the Los Angeles Rams or San Francisco 49ers.

After falling behind 21-10 at halftime, the Bengals got a game-changing interception from defensie tackle BJ Hill. The offense took the field, and Joe Burrow found Ja’Marr Chase for a short touchdown on an out route toward the corner of the endzone.

Burrow is now 17-for-29 with 210 passing yards and two touchdowns, adding two carries for 10 yards. Chase has five catches for 49 yards and a touchdown, adding one carry for three yards.

Injury update on Bengals tight end C.J. Uzomah

The Cincinnati Bengals will have to attempt their AFC Championship game comeback without star tight end C.J. Uzomah.

Uzomah suffered an injury to his left knee, which a source revealed as an MCL sprain, according to NFL Networks’s Ian Rapoport. He will not return to the game and will get an MRI after to determine the extent of his injury.

The 29-year-old Uzomah hopped off the field under his own power and was in tears as a cart took him to the locker room.

The former fifth-round draft pick out of Auburn had two targets and no catches on the day. This season, he has a career-high 493 receiving yards on 49 receptions with five touchdowns.
