The Miami Heat have secured a new contract with guard Tyler Herro, signing the former Kentucky star to a four-year deal worth $130 million. Herro was named 2022 NBA Sixth Man of the Year last season and averaged 20.7 points per game for the Heat. Herro was an explosive scoring threat for the Heat last season — including eight 30-point games off the bench.

The 22-year old former Wildcats star was selected with the 13th overall pick of the 2019 NBA Draft, and has secured himself an incredible payday for his scoring ability. Herro’s new contract extension is reported to be a four-year deal worth $130 million, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Herro is now the third player on Miami’s roster currently with a $100 million-plus contract, joining Jimmy Butler and fellow Kentucky-alum Bam Adebayo.
