Year three of the NASCAR Chicago Street Race is here. Cup Series teams have pulled out a few of their best paint schemes, too. There are a lot of great new looks for the weekend. It will be an exciting two days of racing in the Windy City.

Two days of racing. Xfinity and Cup Series action in Chicago. NASCAR fans, new and old are going to have a lot of fun this weekend. It’s the Fourth of July, and nothing is better than enjoying great stock car racing along with fireworks and a few cold drinks.

The NASCAR season continues. Back-to-back road course races. The playoffs are approaching slowly. Let’s get into these Chicago Street looks and get ready for racing this weekend.

Kyle Busch No. 8 Slurpee Chevy

With how hot it is going to be in most of the country this weekend, an ice-cold Slurpee would be nice to have on hand. Kyle Busch has a new look this weekend, and it is colorful and bright.

This will be a fun design on the track. Busch had a top-five finish at COTA this season. That was his best performance. Let’s see if he can get the job done in Chicago in this new-look No. 8 Chevy. 8/10.

Chase Elliott No. 9 NAPA Gold Filters Chevy

A favorite look of mine for Chase Elliott. A black and gold car is just too good not to include on this list. Elliott might be in contention to win this race, too.

Let’s not forget that Elliott was P3 in the 2023 race. Coming off his strong performance in Mexico, Elliott might be the driver to take down SVG. 8.5/10.

Will Brown No. 13 Mobile X Chevy

Another Supercars star, folks! Will Brown is very accomplished, but he is entering a race that is not the same as when SVG came into town and beat the NASCAR regulars.

The NASCAR field has raced this track twice now, and they have picked up a few things from Brown’s predecessor at Triple Eight Racing in Australia. Car looks great, though. 8/10.

Christopher Bell No. 20 Craftsman Racing for a Miracle Toyota

Image via NASCAR.com

Back again this season, Christopher Bell and Craftsman are teaming up for Racing for a Miracle. Craftsman always makes great paint schemes. Simple and red race cars are the best.

Of course, this paint scheme has a few special additions. A great cause and a car that would look great in Victory Lane. 9/10.

William Byron No. 24 All-Pro Auto Reconditioning Chevy

Image via NASCAR.com

This looks like an old-school 2000s paint scheme on a modern Next Gen car. I really like this All-Pro Chevy for William Byron this weekend.

Byron could win the Chicago Street Race. He has the talent to do it. But does he have the car to do it? 8.5/10.

Todd Gilliland No. 34 Grillo’s Pickles Ford

Image via NASCAR.com

Hot Pickle Car! Grillo’s Pickles decided that Todd Gilliland needed extra horsepower for Chicago. So, Todd is getting flames on his car this weekend! +15 HP right?

Jokes aside, Gilliland has a chance to have a good day at Chicago. He is a better road course racer than he has shown in his early years in the Cup Series. We’ll see if he can capitalize on that skill this Sunday. 8/10.

Zane Smith No. 38 Vermeer Midwest Ford

Image via NASCAR.com

Another race car that just looks like a classic. You could convince me that this Vermeer Midwest car was a throwback. Zane Smith has not had the best season at Front Row in 2025, but things have started to click more often than not lately.

A really great yellow race car. What is there to hate about this? 8.5/10.

Tyler Reddick No. 45 Jordan Brand Toyota

Image via NASCAR.com

Jordan Brand in Chicago, say it ain’t so! Tyler Reddick brings a new shattered backboard design to the track this weekend. This would be the fan-favorite to win on Sunday just for the Jumpman.

Reddick is still winless in 2025 which is wild to say. 23XI Racing has not had that extra speed they need to win this season and it has shown. 9.5/10.

Cody Ware No. 51 Arby’s Angus Cheesesteak Ford

Image via NASCAR.com

This season, Arby’s is one of the premier partners for the Chicago Street Race. Newer to NASCAR, Arby’s has been with Rick Ware Racing this season, and has great-looking designs.

Putting a cheesesteak on the car in Chicago is bold. They have the Italian beef in the Windy City, and I’m not sure you’re going to convince Chicagoans to give that up for a cheesesteak. But they can try. 8/10.

Michael McDowell No. 71 DePaul Blue Demons Chevy

Image via NASCAR.com

NCAA paint schemes are always elite. Michael McDowell is repping the DePaul Blue Demons this weekend for Spire Motorsports.

Regardless of your opinion on the Blue Demons, this car is clean. More universities and colleges need to get in on the NASCAR sponsorship game. Please! 9/10.
