NFL announces Chicago Bears vs. Philadelphia Eagles for 2025 Black Friday game

The Chicago Bears and Philadelphia Eagles are set to play a game on Black Friday in the 2025 season, the NFL announced Monday. The game will be available via streaming on Amazon Prime.
This will mark the third NFL Black Friday game televised on Prime, which began the tradition in 2023. It will take place during Week 13 and marks the first time either team will play on the holiday.
Philadelphia is of course coming off of a Super Bowl victory this past season and will now have the task of defending its title. The Eagles will begin the 2025 season with a Thursday night game against NFC East rival the Dallas Cowboys, it was also announced.
As for the Bears, they finished this past season with a 5-12 record and are preparing to enter the first year under coach Ben Johnson. Chicago drafted quarterback Caleb Williams with the No. 1 overall pick in 2024 and is hoping to see him take the next step forward following a rookie year in which he had 3,541 yards passing and 20 touchdowns to six interceptions.
Depending on how Chicago responds in its first year under Johnson, this could be an intriguing matchup by this point late in the season. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. ET on Nov. 28 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.

FOX Sports announces Week 16 doubleheader featuring massive NFC rivalries
The 2025 NFL schedule continues to roll out one game at a time, or in this case, two games at a time. FOX Sports announced Monday a Saturday, Dec. 20, Week 16 doubleheader.
The reigning Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles will kick things off with a road contest against the Washington Commanders. Then, the Chicago Bears host their NFC North rivals in the Green Bay Packers.
All four teams have playoff aspirations for the upcoming season. With these matchups taking place late in the season, all could have ramifications on the postseason field. And if you like quarterback play, here’s three of the NFC’s best in Jalen Hurts, Jayden Daniels and Jordan Love, plus second-year signal caller and 2024 No. 1 overall pick Caleb Williams.
