Ahead of their Thursday night game with the Minnesota Vikings, the Pittsburgh Steelers have released their final injury report and inactives list.

The Steelers have ruled everybody who did not practice on Wednesday as out for Thursday’s game. They added help on the offensive line, moving Rashaad Coward and Chaz Green to the active roster for tonight’s game.

The Steelers kick off versus Minnesota at 8:20 p.m. ET.

Steelers vs Vikings injury report

Out: CB Joe Haden (Foot), LB Robert Spillane (Knee), OL B.J. Finney (Back), DE Isaiah Buggs (Ankle), QB Dwayne Haskins, RB Anthony McFarland, DT Carlos Davis

Joe Haden was eyeing a possible return this week after missing the last three games, but missed the entire week’s practices with his knee injury. It appears now that Haden will miss another week as he recovers. This is now his fourth game absence.

Robert Spillane was in the same position after suffering a knee sprain against the Bengals.

Joining Spillane and Haden on the injury report are B.J. Finney and Isaiah Buggs, who were both also unavailable for practice all week long.

With the short week and those six players unavailable, the 6-5-1 Steelers could struggle versus the Vikings. However, their backups like John Leglue received praise after last week. Pittsburgh is coming off of a one-point win versus the Baltimore Ravens.

Dalvin Cook likely to play on Thursday

According to NFL insider Tom Pelissero, Dalvin Cook could shockingly return for the Minnesota Vikings to give them an edge on offense.

“Vikings RB Dalvin Cook is now trending towards playing tonight against the Steelers just 11 days after dislocating his left shoulder, per sources,” tweeted Pelissero. “He’s officially listed as questionable but has gotten first-team reps in practice and wants to give it a go.”

When Cook first injured his shoulder, many theorized it could’ve ended his season. Instead, the Vikings star could be back sooner than anyone expected. After a demoralizing loss to the Detroit Lions, the Vikings could use Cook leading their backfield.

Thus far in 2021, Cook has rushed for 773 yards and four touchdowns. While it hasn’t been the tremendous season we’re used to from Cook, it’s been more than good enough.

With their season on the line, the Minnesota Vikings will want Dalvin Cook on the field.
