Georgia hosts key official visitors for Scavenger Hunt Weekend

It was a star-studded affair in Athens this weekend, as the Bulldogs hosted some of the nation’s best to kickoff the summer recruiting season. While they weren’t the first official visits of the year, it was the deepest group of the year so far. We dive in on some of the key names to kick it off. Georgia is pressing hard for four-star linebacker Nick Abrams, and he has the mental makeup that fits Glenn Schumann’s room in a big way. Could we look back on this trip as a key in the recruitment? Meanwhile, Georgia also hosted five-star offensive lineman Darius Gray, and while the Bulldogs are seemingly playing catchup, this could be a turning point if they happen to make down the line. Lastly, Ryan Mosley is a name that sometimes get overlooked in the 2026 cycle, but we suggest you know him well moving forward. The Bulldogs certainly do.

There were other names to know

Auburn pledge Shadarius Toodle also stopped in to see Georgia, and he and his father looked to be having a great time in Athens. Could the Bulldogs be in a position to pull off a flip there? Former Tennessee commit Tyson Bacon was also in town, and he looks to be a name that is quickly picking up steam where Georgia is concerned. Get him on your radar. Carter Luckie also made the trek, and there are some clear Bulldog connections that make him a name of interest. Lastly, we dive in on Khamari Brooks, a local-to-Athens star who has the Dawgs and Crimson Tide both chasing heavily. There were also some 2027 names that ended up in the Classic City, including a new offer that bears watching.

Summer Slammed for Georgia

While the Bulldogs are off for the Memorial Day Weekend, it’s a small break compared to what’s coming down the pike. Georgia will soon be ramping up weekly official visits and camp season, which usually leads to some must watch offers. Current Dawgs like Chase Linton and Dennis Uzochukwu were spotted last summer. Who could be next for Georgia? There’s plenty to be tuned into, and we have you covered on it all.
