About Torres on the field

Torres is a high-impact pitcher with a proven track record of success in fall, spring, and summer competition. With a combined 192 innings, 335 strikeouts, and a calm, competitive demeanor, she exhibits next-level potential. Command, strikeout ability, and mental toughness make her a standout in the circle and a valuable asset to any program. A dominant and efficient presence in the circle, Torres posted a perfect 13-0 record and elite-level ERA in the fall. Averaging over 1.5 strikeouts per inning, she combines velocity and movement with strong command, keeping hitters consistently off balance. Her low WHIP (.776) and opponent BAA (.160) reflect her ability to limit base runners and control high-pressure situations. Gianna continued with a dominant high school season, throwing 76 innings with 166 strikeouts, averaging an outstanding 2.18 strikeouts per inning. She combined overpowering pitches with excellent control, reflected in a sub-1.00 WHIP and minimal hits allowed. Gianna continued to perform at a high level during summer play, showing adaptability and consistency, maintaining solid strikeout numbers (1.31 K/IP) against stronger competition. Her slight increase in WHIP (1.168) and BAA (.225) reflects tougher matchups but Gianna still demonstrated excellent poise and resilience in the circle. She is reliable in late innings and able to compete deep into games.
