Former Kentucky star Wan’Dale Robinson has made his new home with the New York Giants feel quite comfortable all offseason long. He’s made highlight reel plays for much of the offseason in OTAs and it simply hasn’t taken very long at all for the rookie wide receiver to turn heads with his new team.

Check it out as he made a few defenders miss in the open field on Friday in the Giants’ scrimmage.

He’s been working with the first team since the start of training camp and if this offseason is any indicator, it looks like Robinson could make a serious splash for the Giants this fall.

Wan’Dale Robinson soaks it all in after the scrimmage

The electrifying wideout was also seen soaking it all in after the scrimmage, still feeling like playing in the National Football League is a dream. Check out the video of his reaction of enjoying the fact that he is actually playing in the NFL.

It’s pretty refreshing to see a rookie soak it all in like that. Playing in the NFL or NBA is something that every kid dreams of growing up, but only an incredibly small percentage actually get to make it a reality. It’s pretty cool to see him appreciate the moment and soak it all in.

Robinson proved himself as a playmaker this past season with the Wildcats. He also spent the first two years of his career with the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

He was selected by the New York Giants with the No. 43 overall selection in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft.

After transferring to Kentucky this past offseason, Robinson had a breakout campaign. In just one season at with the Wildcats, Robinson caught a team-high 104 passes and had 1,334 receiving yards, setting single-season school records. He had six 100-yard games in the 2021 season, which ranks second on Kentucky’s single-season list. He joined Randall Cobb as only the second receiver in school history to have 12 or more receptions in multiple games during their career. He also became just the sixth player in SEC history to catch at least 100 passes in a season.

A former four-star recruit in the class of 2019, Robinson ranked as the No. 12 receiver and No. 54 player according to On3 Consensus Rankings, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average. He chose to attend Nebraska over offers from big-time schools such as AlabamaMichigan and Ohio State. Robinson’s playmaking ability was still on display in Lincoln as he ended his two-year career with 91 catches for 914 yards and three touchdowns. He was also utilized as a running back there, totaling 580 yards rushing and four touchdowns.
