WATCH: Highlights of new Georgia TE commit Brayden Fogle

The Georgia Bulldogs saw their own fireworks on the Fourth of July, landing the commitment of four-star tight end Brayden Fogle on Friday, and giving Todd Hartley his second tight end pledge of the Class of 2026.
Fogle ranks as the nation’s No. 159 overall prospect per the 2026 On3 Industry Ranking, as well as the No. 10 tight end and No. 7 player in the state of Ohio per the same metric. He plays his high school ball at Mansfield, Ohio’s Lexington High School.
A 6-foot-4, 235 pound athlete, Fogle is the twenty-seventh commitment of the Class of 2026 for the Bulldogs. He chose Georgia over the likes of LSU and Penn State in the end, and he held offers from the likes of Michigan and Notre Dame, as well, in the process.
The Dawgs had long been in pursuit and hosted Fogle for his official visit back in early June. That opportunity gave the standout playmaker the chance to put on the Georgia uniform for the first time, a feeling he clearly relished.

“It was pretty cool, it’s iconic,” Fogle told DawgsHQ’s Jeremy Johnson at that time. “If you ask almost anyone you know what that red G on the helmet is and the black and red, what it stands for (they’ll know). I think it’s pretty special.”
When you turn on the tape, it’s not hard to see why Todd Hartley and company were in hot pursuit throughout for Fogle’s services. With almost 800 yards in his junior season, Fogle flashes the ability to split out wide, make adjustments in coverage, the ability to win 50/50 balls, and plenty of the speed and physicality that Kirby Smart covets in tight ends.
