Xavier Williams ready for first road rivalry game

As a redshirt freshman, the only ‘road’ venue that Xavier Williams experienced last season was traveling to the Iowa bowl game and working primarily on scout team.
This season is experience is going to be very different. After rushing for a career high 122 yards on Saturday in the win over Albany, Williams is firmly planted on the depth chart at running back heading into the second week of the season. Of course, that second week involves his first true road game as the Hawkeyes will be traveling to Ames to face the Iowa State Cyclones.
Williams discusses the rivalry and what he saw from it last year in Iowa City and what he has been told to expect him Ames. Plus, he talks about what challenges he expects as he attempts to run the football against the always tough Iowa State defense.
