The XFL shared their new home cities for teams in the upcoming 2023 season, adding Las Vegas, Orlando and San Antonio to the league. The new team homes mean that three former cities are no longer going to have an XFL team — New York, Los Angeles and Tampa.

With the addition of Las Vegas, Orlando and San Antonio, the full list of home cities now includes them, Seattle, St. Louis, Arlington (Dallas), Houston and Washington D.C.

The markets that the XFL dropped teams for had the three lowest average attendance numbers in the 2020 season. Now the XFL has three teams in Texas, and a report from ESPN indicates that the league is discussing holding weekday practices in the Dallas area for all eight teams of the league. From that central location, players would then travel to their local home stadiums to play games.

Additionally, the XFL confirmed which stadiums the teams would host games in as well as which coach would be in charge of each team. The XFL announced their eight head coaches when they were hired in April, but had not yet revealed who they would be coaching.

San Antonio, Texas — Coach Hines Ward — The Alamodome
Orlando — Coach Terrell Buckley — Camping World Stadium
Las Vegas — Coach Rod Woodson — TBA stadium
Seattle — Coach Jim Haslett — Lumen Field
St. Louis — Coach Anthony Becht — The Dome
Washington D.C. — Coach Reggie Barlow — Audi Field

The location for games in Las Vegas has yet to be determined, but Allegiant Stadium is reportedly a possible location for the Las Vegas team.

The XFL did not reveal team names or what their branding would look like with their announcement, but owner Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson teased the upcoming reveal.

“We have been working on cool, new logos and innovative uniforms that match the dynamic and innovative vision of our league,” said Johnson, via ESPN.
