10 years of NASCAR financials released in lawsuit, team finances revealed
Each day that goes by, more information comes out regarding the NASCAR lawsuit. A lot of financial info is now out there. We have 10 years of NASCAR’s finances and a peek into the finances of both 23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports.
The NASCAR lawsuit is bringing a lot to light. This is what the result of a lawsuit and discovery means. Little to nothing is sacred, and even things that won’t be allowed in court are now out there for the public to read.
Everybody’s business, literally and figuratively, is out there right now. Bob Pockrass of FOX Sports released a number of documents on social media. It’s a lot of numbers that show just how much NASCAR has made between 2015 to 2024, including expenses, revenue, operating income, and tax provisions.
In another set of documents, we can see he purse distributions for the Cup and O’Reilly Auto Parts Series. What is particularly interesting is the comparison to F1 included. When it comes to team payouts, F1 gives a larger portion of total revenue than NASCAR does.
The attorneys who are in charge of this NASCAR lawsuit have a lot to go through. That’s why there’s an entire army on either side of this case. Pouring over the financial information and making it relevant to the arguments at hand will be a big piece of the trial. After all, this is about the business practices of NASCAR and whether or not the sport is misusing its monopoly/monopsony power.

You can pore over the details of the teams’ expenses below. There is also a list of the charter sales history that shows just how expensive the charters have become in recent years.
The NASCAR lawsuit is bringing everything to light. That means for better or worse. While some may think it is funny to see the comments made in private texts and emails, I assure you no one involved in this lawsuit is laughing about having their records out in the open like this.
