The NASCAR Cup Series will move on from a tremendous race at Kansas Speedway, finishing out the Round of 12 with the Bank of America ROVAL 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Chase Elliott and Ryan Blaney are locked in already for the Round of 8, and now it’s time to see who will join them.

Last season, Kyle Larson was victorious in North Carolina. A win would be a huge boon for the Hendrick star, as it’s been a bit since his last trip to Victory Lane, especially by his standards. However, Shane van Gisbergen is the unquestioned favorite, considering his dominance at road course racing in 2025.

Looking ahead to the green flag, BetMGM Sportsbook has us covered with the odds. See if your favorite driver has a shot at the dub at the Charlotte road course this weekend, in what should be an exciting race as usual.

Shane van Gisbergen (-110)

Shane van Gisbergen will return to road course racing after the best oval performance of his NASCAR Cup Series career. He came home P10 at Kansas, impressing his peers and analysts alike.

SVG has only raced at the ROVAL once in the Cup Series. He started on the pole last season, but he couldn’t notch the win, coming home seventh when the checkered flag waved. We’ll see what’s different this time around

Christopher Bell (+800)

Christopher Bell came home third at Kansas. He’s continuing to be one of the more consistent wheelman in the Cup Series, and a threat to win week-in and week-out.

Bell was victorious at the ROVAL in 2022. He’s always a threat when the Cup Series heads to Charlotte. He doesn’t have much to worry about at +44 in the playoff standings, so he might be going all out for win No. 5 in 2025.

Kyle Larson (+1000)

Kansas is one of Kyle Larson’s favorite tracks, and he showed why over the weekend that was. He finished sixth, which marked a solid performance for the No. 5 Chevrolet team.

Larson has two wins at the ROVAL — he was victorious in 2021 and then again last season. He’s not exactly in danger of missing the Round of 8, but he’d still prefer to capture another checkered flag in Charlotte.

Tyler Reddick (+1200)

Tyler Reddick finished seventh at Kansas. He’s still searching for his first win of 2025, and he’s on the outside looking in of the cut-line at the moment. He might need a win to save his season.

Over the course of his Cup Series career, Reddick has been fantastic at the ROVAL. While he’s never won at the track, he does have a runner up finish, as he came home second back in 2021.

AJ Allmendinger (+1300)

AJ Allmendinger finished P36 at Kansas this past weekend. He’ll be hoping to tear the page out and start over again this weekend in Charlotte.

Allmendinger actually got the win at the ROVAL back in 2023. He’s always among the favorites at one of NASCAR’s more unique tracks. While he’s not in the playoffs, a win would be awesome for the No. 16 team.

Chase Elliott (+1400)

Chase Elliott won in miraculous fashion this past weekend at Kansas. He came from P10 all the way to the front in the final laps, dooring Denny Hamlin and crossing the finish-line first for win No. 2 of the season.

Moving forward, Elliott has two wins at the ROVAL — they came in back to back seasons during the 2019 and 2020 campaigns. He’s already locked into the Round of 8, but another dub would continue his glorious momentum.

William Byron (+1400)

William Byron came home ninth at Kansas this past weekend. He was one of three Hendrick cars in the top ten, as the team is finding more and more speed each week.

Byron finished third at the ROVAL last season, and second in 2023. He’s getting close to winning at the track, and at +40 in the playoff standings, perhaps he’ll go all out for the win in 2025.

Chase Briscoe (+2000)

Chase Briscoe notched yet another top five at Kansas. He came home P4, with two of his fellow Joe Gibbs Racing teammates joining him in the top five, as well.

The ROVAL has never been too kind to Briscoe. He’s finished in the top ten only once in four tries. That was before his turning over of a new leaf at Joe Gibbs Racing though. Perhaps he can ascend this weekend.
