Major League Baseball officially set the lineup for Monday night’s Home Run Derby. Eight of baseball’s most electric hitters will take center stage at Truist Park in Atlanta. Some serious power will enter the batter’s box with $1 million on the line as well.

Odds have since been released for who will wind up hoisting the trophy. MLB is going back to an older format, not having a bracket anymore. This allows for the competition to be a little more wide open for the fans at home.

Unsurprisingly, Cal Raleigh is at the top of the odds list via FanDuel. Almost everyone in Atlanta will be cheering for the hometown guy, though, as Ronald Acuna Jr. participates in his third Derby.

Full 2025 Home Run Derby Odds

  • Seattle Mariners C Cal Raleigh (+350)
  • Pittsburgh Pirates OF Oneil Cruz (+370)
  • Atlanta Braves OF Ronald Acuna Jr. (+400)
  • Washington Nationals OF James Wood (+550)
  • Minnesota Twins OF Byron Buxton (+800)
  • Tampa Bay Rays 3B Junior Caminero (+950)
  • New York Yanees 2B Jazz Chisholm (+1100)
  • Athletics OF Brent Rooker (+1400)

Raleigh has been on an absolute tear this season, smashing 36 home runs entering Thursday night’s game against the New York Yankees. He has done enough to start a conversation about who should win the American League MVP, something Aaron Judge has taken home two of the last three seasons. Early on, it seemed as if Judge was going to run away with the award but Raleigh continues to put up a good fight due to his power.

Nobody in the field will hit balls harder than Cruz. According to Baseball Savant, the Pirates outfielder ranks in the 100th percentile in Average Exit Velocity, Barrel Percentage, and Bat Speed. His Hard Hit Percentage is just a tick lower, coming in at the 99th percentile. A lot of loud contact should come from Cruz’s bat in Atlanta.

The two youngsters in the field, Wood and Caminero, might not have the best odds but should provide plenty of excitement. Wood is just 22 years old and already has 24 home runs on the season. Caminero is a year younger and not too far behind at 22 long balls. Baseball is always looking for blossoming players who can draw a crowd — those two certainly fit the bill.

ESPN will broadcast the event to officially kick off All-Star Week. Around 8 p.m. ET is when things will get underway.
