2025 NASCAR Cup Series Championship odds: Betting lines updated after Michigan
The odds for who will stand above the field as the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series champion have been updated following the Firekeepers Casino 400. Denny Hamlin notched another win in one of the more exciting races of the season in Michigan.
It represented Hamlin’s third win of the year, and he’s not looking to slow down. However, he’ll have a unique challenge this weekend, as the Cup Series will head south of the border, with the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City the site of this weekend’s action.
Regardless, DraftKings Sportsbook has released its updated betting lines for which driver will stand above all at the end of the year as champion after all of the action in the Firekeepers Casino 400. Here’s where each wheelman stands entering Mexico City this coming weekend, following the fun in Michigan.

Kyle Larson (+330)
Kyle Larson seemed primed to battle William Byron for the win in the final laps at Michigan. However, he fell off a bit, but the Hendrick Motorsports star still managed to come out of the race with a top five, finishing P5.
With Mexico City on the docket, Larson is currently P2 in the overall point standings. He’s won three races, while notching 11 top tens and nine top fives. Leading 851 laps throughout 2025, those are gaudy numbers so far.
Christopher Bell (+450)
Michigan hasn’t been kind to Christopher Bell in the past, so a P16 is something he won’t be too mad about. Still, it’s not what we’ve come to expect from the No. 20 Toyota wheelman, as he’s grown into one of the more consistent drivers in the entire sport.
With Mexico City on the docket, Bell is currently P4 in the overall point standings. He’s 96 points behind the leader, amassing a total of three wins, ten top tens, six top fives and 149 laps led.
Denny Hamlin (+550)

Denny Hamlin is finding his stride. After notching two wins heading into Michigan, the Joe Gibbs Racing wheelman chased down William Byron in a masterclass of racing, securing his third checkered flag and taunting the crowd afterwards, all while awaiting the birth of his son.
All told, Hamlin has been one of the drivers to beat once again in 2025. He’s P3 in the overall point standings, with eight top tens and seven top fives to his name. Road courses aren’t his strong suit though, so that’s why many aren’t expecting win No. 4 to come in Mexico.
Ryan Blaney (+550)
Ryan Blaney couldn’t follow up his win at Nashville with another dub in Michigan. He had an afternoon to forget, as the Team Penske wheelman finished P33 in this past weekend’s race.
On the season so far, Blaney is P7 in the overall point standings. He’s amassed seven top tens and six top fives, along with 346 laps led. We’ll see if he can make an impact south of the border.

William Byron (+700)
William Byron finished P28 at Michigan, but that certainly won’t tell the story of his race. If he had a couple more laps of fuel left in his car, he would’ve notched a top three at worst, and contended for the win, as we all saw his riveting battle with Denny Hamlin.
With Mexico City on the docket, Byron is the leader in the overall point standings. While he only has one win, and that came in the Daytona 500, he’s amassed nine top tens, seven top fives and 768 laps led in 2025.
Chase Elliott (+1100)

Chase Elliott was racing up front throughout this past weekend’s race in Michigan. Then, the final stage came around, and the Hendrick Motorsports star fell off a bit. Still, he managed to come home P15, which is certainly a solid outing.
He doesn’t have a win yet, but Elliott is P5 in the overall point standings at the moment. He’s amassed seven top tens and three top fives. Additionally, Elliott has led 95 laps in 2025.
Tyler Reddick (+1100)
Tyler Reddick won at Michigan in 2024. While he wasn’t a factor this time around, he still came home with a P13 result. That’s something to build on as he looks for win No. 1 in 2025 this summer.
Still, Reddick is currently P6 in the overall point standings with Mexico City coming up. He has five top tens and three top fives on the season. Perhaps his trip to Victory Lane is coming soon.
Joey Logano (+1400)
Joey Logano matched his car number at Michigan, finishing P22. It wasn’t what the reigning champion expected heading into this past weekend’s race, as a painfully average performance led to a mid-pack finish.
The Middletown, Connecticut native is P9 in the overall point standings heading into Mexico City. With four top tens, two top fives and a win to his name, Logano might feel like he should’ve had more success at this point, but as long as he’s in the playoffs, he has a shot.
