“My math says these are the clinching point total needed at Bristol, no matter what anyone else does,” Pockrass wrote. “Larson 8 (29th and no stage points/fastest lap point), Wallace 18 (19th), Blaney 26 (11th), Byron 29 (8th), Reddick 31 (6th), Bell 36, Elliott 40, Logano 47, Chastain 49.

More on the NASCAR playoff standings after Gateway
Cindric is just 11 points above the cut line, so he will need to have a strong finish (or win on Saturday) to advance to the next round. For Berry, who is 45 points below the cut, his best chance of advancing is simply winning at Bristol.
During Hamlin’s post-race press conference on Sunday, he talked about his mindset heading into Bristol after clinching a spot in the playoffs. “I would love to get 60 (wins) at Bristol. That would be fantastic. I’m not going to change my preparation for Bristol,” Hamlin said. “All this win did was just add work to the week, ’cause it allows us to now get ahead to the next round. There’s no way I’m willing to go to Bristol, compromising my normal routine.”
Hamlin is looking to win his first Cup Series title this season. He is on track to reach that goal, having won five races this year.
