The NASCAR Cup Series will return to Wine Country this weekend, with the Toyota/Save Mart 350 taking center stage at Sonoma Raceway. Back-to-back road courses after an exhilarating weekend in Chicago.

California native Kyle Larson was able to taste the grapes in 2024, but that was before Shane van Gisbergen started racing in the Cup Series full-time. He’s the standard when it comes to road course racing, and it’s no secret he’ll be the favorite.

Regardless, FanDuel Sportsbook has us covered with the odds. See if your favorite driver has a shot at the dub in the Toyota/Save Mart 350, and enjoy some beautiful views as the Cup Series heads to Sonoma this weekend.

Shane Van Gisbergen (+140)

Shane van Gisbergen had a landmark weekend in Chicago. He started from the pole and won both the Xfinity Series and Cup Series races. The latter represented his second win of the season, the other coming in Mexico City for the Trackhouse Racing star.

Last season, SVG skipped the Cup Series race at Sonoma, but he won the Xfinity Series race. We’ll see if he can notch win No. 3 as the favorite heading into another road course, per usual.

Kyle Larson (+600)

Kyle Larson was all over the place in Chicago, but he delivered the No. 5 Chevrolet team a solid result at P13 when the checkered flag waved. He wasn’t able to compete for the win, but it was a good showing for the former Cup Series champion over Fourth of July weekend.

Sonoma has been an incredible track for Larson in his career. He has two wins and five poles at the track. He’s entering as the defending champion, but the competition will be a little stiffer with SVG in the field.

Chase Elliott (+1000)

How could Chase Elliott follow his amazing win in Atlanta the weekend prior to Chicago? Only another dub would’ve sufficed. A P16 finish wasn’t what he had in mind for his trip to the Windy City, that’s for sure.

Elliott’s never won at Sonoma, but he’s always run well. He has six top tens in eight attempts, but zero wins. Perhaps that could change this time around in California.

Michael McDowell (+1000)

Michael McDowell seemed to be the only driver who could’ve challenged Shane van Gisbergen at Chicago, qualifying second and winning the first stage of the race. However, he dealt with a myriad of car issues, and that meant a P32 finish for the Spire Motorsports veteran.

After struggling at Sonoma earlier in his career, the track has become one of McDowell’s favorites. He was the runner-up to Kyle Larson in 2024, so we’ll see if he can do one position better in 2025.

Tyler Reddick (+1400)

Tyler Reddick needed a couple more laps to see if he could’ve caught Ty Gibbs and Shane van Gisbergen. As it stood, he ran out of time. The 23XI Racing wheelman had to settle for a podium finish in third.

Prior to last season, Sonoma was one of Reddick’s worst tracks, at least result-wise. He’s always qualified well at the road course. He’ll need to put together a complete weekend this time around for the result he desires.

Chris Buescher (+1400)

Chris Buescher dealt with a myriad of issues throughout the afternoon in Chicago. He never stopped battling though, and that led to a P18 finish for the RFK Racing wheelman in Illinois.

Over the last three seasons, Sonoma has been a playground for Buescher. He’s finished P3, P4 and P2 since 2022. What does 2025 have in store? Maybe he can win for the first time this season at the track.

Ty Gibbs (+1600)

Ty Gibbs is still searching for his first Cup Series win, and he might already have it if Shane van Gisbergen never came to the United States. The Joe Gibbs Racing wheelman has been a road course racing savant, but he’s no match for the New Zealander. That was the case in Chicago, as Gibbs finished second.

Last season, Gibbs seemed like a major threat to win at Sonoma, leading a myriad of laps. However, he was involved in a wreck that put a damper on his chances. He’ll be out for revenge this time around.

William Byron (+1800)

William Byron is ready to throw out whatever happened to him in Chicago. He started P38 and finished P40 on the afternoon. It was far from the showing you would’ve expected out of the Hendrick Motorsports star.

Sonoma has been a mixed bag for Byron in his career. He only has one top ten, and that came in 2022 (P9). He finished P30 after starting P6 last season.
