One of the more anticipated weekends on the NASCAR calendar in 2025 is here, as the Cup Series will head south of the border. Following an excited race at Michigan International Speedway, the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City will be the site of this weekend’s action.

The road course should bring some incredible racing, and be a spectacular event as NASCAR goes international. While it’s anyone’s guess who will get to Victory Lane, DraftKings Sportsbook tried to make sense of it all.

Among the favorites will be road course racing savants like Shane Van Gisbergen, Chase Elliott and Mexico’s own Daniel Suarez. Check out the full odds below, and see if your favorite driver has a shot at the dub in the Viva México 250.

Shane Van Gisbergen (+480)

Shane van Gisbergen is thought of as a threat on road courses, but his performance at intermediate tracks has left a bit to be desired. However, he turned in a solid showing in Michigan, finishing P18 when the checkered flag waved.

With Mexico City on the docket, van Gisbergen is currently P33 in the overall point standings. He only has one top ten on the season, so a win is more important to him at one of these road courses than anything. He’ll be going for broke at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez.

Christopher Bell (+700)

Michigan hasn’t been kind to Christopher Bell in the past, so a P16 is something he won’t be too mad about. Still, it’s not what we’ve come to expect from the No. 20 Toyota wheelman, as he’s grown into one of the more consistent drivers in the entire sport.

With Mexico City on the docket, Bell is currently P4 in the overall point standings. He’s 96 points behind the leader, amassing a total of three wins, ten top tens, six top fives and 149 laps led.

William Byron (+800)

William Byron finished P28 at Michigan, but that certainly won’t tell the story of his race. If he had a couple more laps of fuel left in his car, he would’ve notched a top three at worst, and contended for the win, as we all saw his riveting battle with Denny Hamlin.

With Mexico City on the docket, Byron is the leader in the overall point standings. While he only has one win, and that came in the Daytona 500, he’s amassed nine top tens, seven top fives and 768 laps led in 2025.

Tyler Reddick (+800)

Tyler Reddick won at Michigan in 2024. While he wasn’t a factor this time around, he still came home with a P13 result. That’s something to build on as he looks for win No. 1 in 2025 this summer.

Still, Reddick is currently P6 in the overall point standings with Mexico City coming up. He has five top tens and three top fives on the season. Perhaps his trip to Victory Lane is coming soon.

Kyle Larson (+800)

Kyle Larson seemed primed to battle William Byron for the win in the final laps at Michigan. However, he fell off a bit, but the Hendrick Motorsports star still managed to come out of the race with a top five, finishing P5.

With Mexico City on the docket, Larson is currently P2 in the overall point standings. He’s won three races, while notching 11 top tens and nine top fives. Leading 851 laps throughout 2025, those are gaudy numbers so far.

Chase Elliott (+1100)

Chase Elliott was racing up front throughout this past weekend’s race in Michigan. Then, the final stage came around, and the Hendrick Motorsports star fell off a bit. Still, he managed to come home P15, which is certainly a solid outing.

He doesn’t have a win yet, but Elliott is P5 in the overall point standings at the moment. He’s amassed seven top tens and three top fives. Additionally, Elliott has led 95 laps in 2025.

Daniel Suarez (+1400)

Daniel Suarez might be the odd man out at Trackhouse at the end of the season if he can’t get a victory, and make a little bit of a run this postseason. He’s been racking up some solid finishes recently though, and Michigan was more evidence of that, as he came home P14.

Like his teammate Shane van Gisbergen, a win would mean the world to Daniel Suarez. He’s back in P28 in the overall point standings, only nothing one top five in 2025. He needs it if he’s going to make the playoffs.

Kyle Busch (+1400)

Kyle Busch would much rather be in Victory Lane at the end of a race, especially in the midst of this winless streak. Still, a P8 finish at Michigan is nothing to scoff at, as the two-time champion secured a top ten finish this past weekend.

All in all, Busch is right around the playoff cut-line, currently P15 in the overall Cup Series point standings. A win would do a ton for him. Fans are yearning for the veteran to get back to Victory Lane sooner rather than later.
