23XI Racing reveals Jordan Brand paint scheme for Chicago Street Race featuring young Michael Jordan
Jordan Brand is back with Tyler Reddick on the 23XI Racing No. 45 Toyota Camry. This time at the Chicago Street Race. The Jumpman is returning to the Windy City, this time via NASCAR.
There hasn’t been a lot of Jordan Brand paint schemes this season. Maybe just one so far that I can think of off the top of my head. However, that changes at Chicago. If you’re going to have Jordan on a car, it has to be for this race.
23XI Racing shared a video with the rendering of the paint scheme featured. It has the OG photo that launched the Jordan Brand “Jumpman” logo. With the city skyline of Chicago against a purple sunset background, it’s a clean design.
Chicago and Michael Jordan will always be connected. For Tyler Reddick, it adds another iconic paint scheme to his portfolio. With Jordan Brand on the car, Reddick has had some of the best looks of the Next Gen era and it’s only been a season and a half for him in the 45 car.
Now the focus has to be getting that great paint scheme in Victory Lane. Imagine that, the Jumpman himself showered in confetti in the city he won six championships for.
It will have to be a much better performance than last year for Reddick. Things didn’t go so well for the 45 in the inaugural Chicago Street Race.

23XI Racing can improve at Chicago
Last season at the Chicago Street Race, neither 23XI Racing team did well. P28 for Reddick, P31 for Bubba Wallace. It was not an ideal situation. Then again, it was a brand new course on a wet-weather track that was also shortened due to daylight.
So, there were extenuating circumstances that played into a bad day for many drivers. Reddick is a strong road course racer, so it didn’t make much sense to see him struggle in the Chicago race last year.
I do think we will see the 45 perform better this season. Reddick is a driver who takes it personally when he struggles at a certain type of track. I am sure he is far from happy with his performance in 2023.
23XI Racing always has great paint schemes. With Jordan on the car for Chicago, there has to be a feeling of “let’s get it done this time” and put up a good result. What are your expectations for Chicago next week?
