Aaron Rodgers flips off cameras on Soldier Field before Steelers at Bears

Aaron Rodgers wanted to take in all of the scenery at Soldier Field as the Pittsburgh Steelers visited the Chicago Bears. While his status, due to a left wrist injury, was up in the air, he had some fun with the cameras following him around the stadium.
Rodgers did a lap Sunday morning, not revealing if he was playing or not, but flipped the bird. Funny enough, he used his right hand, hiding his injured wrist!
“Aaron Rodgers arrived at Solider Field about 20 minutes ago, walked one lap around the field, flipped off a couple of the cameras that were filming and went back inside,” ESPN’s Dan Graziano wrote on Twitter/X. “Used his right hand to flip the bird, so unclear if he could do it with his left. Status for today’s game still up in the air.”
Mike Tomlin updated the latest regarding Rodgers while speaking to the media on Friday. He noted that their quarterback was a limited participant at practice on Thursday and Friday after not taking part on Wednesday, with Tomlin saying the team will “see where the weekend leads us” regarding Rodgers’ status for Sunday at Soldier Field.
“You know, I thought I saw a solid effort. But it’s Friday, and so we’ve got some time,” Tomlin said this afternoon. “He was listed as a partial participant and given a questionable designation. And, we’ll see where the weekend leads us.”

Rodgers did not return after fracturing that non-throwing wrist in the first half, to the 34-12 win over the Bengals in Week 11. He exited being 9-15 (60%) for 115 yards and a touchdown through his exit in the second quarter, with Mason Rudolph checking in from there to be 12-16 (75%) for 127 yards and a touchdown himself in the 22-point divisional win over Cincinnati, which moved Pittsburgh to 6-4 and maintained a lead in the AFC North.
Testing coming into the week proved a small fracture or a slight break in the left wrist, which would not need surgery on it, for Rodgers. The safety of that wrist, more so than the pain tolerance of it, and how he’s able to manage it in practice going into a game this weekend, has been a key part of evaluating if he can play or not. And, as of now, Rodgers has yet to be officially ruled out for the matchup against Chicago.
“Feels better than it did Sunday. That’s for sure,” Rodgers said during his media availability on Tuesday. “Lot of rehab. Was thankful to get today to work and just focus on rehab for a day. We’ll try to get back out on the field tomorrow and see what I can do.”
