Aaron Rodgers has been a focal point in the various NFL storylines following last week’s victory over the Chicago Bears.

The Green Bay Packers signal caller was originally asked about receiving the middle finger when coming off of Soldier Field from an unhappy Chicago Bears fan.

“Packers QB Aaron Rodgers says the middle-finger display he got at Soldier Field is not unique to Chicago, “There’s some places we’ve been that have some rowdy fans. Philly, I think, might be the best trash talkers,” Packers reporter Ryan Wood tweeted.

Wood then followed up with a classic story, elaborating on Rodgers’ claim that the Eagles fans are the worst when it comes to trash talking.

“Rodgers with great Philly story,” Wood added. “He says first game there, same fan kept yelling same thing: “Hey Rodgers, get the splinters out of your ass.”

The fan never stopped.

“By the time the 3rd quarter happened, I was impressed he still had it. So I turned and gave him a little wave.”

Tom Brady on Aaron Rodgers trash talking

Aaron Rodgers showed off some swagger after his game-sealing touchdown run against the Chicago Bears. After bring back his discount double-check celebration, Rodgers talked the talk to the Chicago crowd.

According to Andrew Brandt, the exact quote is even spicier than what was rumored to be said.

“Am being told the accurate quote to the Bears fans was this: ‘I’ve owned you all my f-ing life! I own you, I still own you.’ #AaronRodgers,” tweeted Brandt. “Extra savage.”

Tom Brady, a fellow future Hall of Fame quarterback, had a witty response when asked of Rodgers trash talk, offering congratulations for his new stake in ownership.

“I was studying a little bit of the Bears and the Packers and watched a lot of that. That was another great game,” Brady said on NFL Radio. “And actually, before we get started, I wanted to say congrats to Aaron Rodgers. Obviously, I know he’s a great quarterback, but I guess he’s now a shareholder of the Bears. I saw a clip of him really enthusiastically telling the crowd how happy he is to own Soldier Field. That’s really great stuff. He owns the [Milwaukee] Bucks now, part-owner of Soldier Field, so he’s got a great career beyond football.”

A little trash talk has never hurt anyone, whether Aaron Rodgers is giving it or taking it.
