Aaron Rodgers slams 'f*cking ridiculous' inquiries into personal life, recent marriage

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers arrived at mandatory minicamp earlier this month wearing what appeared to be a wedding ring on his left hand. Asked if it was an Oura ring or a wedding ring, Rodgers confirmed he had gotten married a “couple of months” prior.
Rodgers didn’t offer up too many details about his recent marriage. His wife remains unknown to the public, and that’s by design, Rodgers revealed on Tuesday’s “Pat McAfee Show.” Rodgers slammed the inquiries into his personal life as “f*cking ridiculous and embarrassing.”
“It’s a sick society,” Rodgers said. “I lived in a public eye for 20 years. I had a public relationship. How did that work out? … My private life is my private life and it’s going to stay that way, and I’m with somebody who wants to be private, and if and when she wants to be out and there’s a picture, she’ll choose that. But the entitlement to information about my private life is so f*cking ridiculous and embarrassing.
“Do what you got to do. But try and leave me out of a conversation, sports world, for a month. Leave my personal life, my professional life — try not to talk about me. Try to still be relevant for the next six weeks or whatever it is. See if you can do that.”
Rodgers has had very public relationships in the past, notably with racecar driver Danica Patrick and actresses Olivia Munn and Shailene Woodley, the latter being an ex-fiancée. Now, Rodgers clearly wants to keep his private life out of the public eye.

Aaron Rodgers expecting 2025 season to be his last
Rodgers, 41, told McAfee he’s “pretty sure” the 2025 season will be his last. The four-time NFL MVP promised that when he’s done, you won’t see much of him in the spotlight. As for this season, Rodgers is going to “empty the tank.”
“It’s not really ‘[I] can’t go out like this,'” Rodgers said. “I love the game, and there’s been a beautiful relationship. It was my first love when I was 6 years old, dreaming about playing quarterback and being in the Super Bowl and winning in the Super Bowl. … I wanted to be there for minicamp once I decided I was going to be all-in, but I didn’t need this. I didn’t need it at all. I don’t feel the need to prove anything to anybody or don’t have any chip on my shoulder. I don’t want the attention.
“I’m going to give the Steelers everything that I got and empty the tank and be super comfortable and satisfied with whatever happens.”
