Angel Reese models lingerie, walks runway at Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

Angel Reese traded in her basketball shoes for high heels during the 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Wednesday. She also switched up her Chicago Sky uniform for floral-covered lingerie draped in a matching boa.

The WNBA star was front and center during the set. She strolled down the runway with the same confidence she shows on the basketball court.

Reese walked down the runway a second time later in the show — this time in a different outfit. She rocked a cheeky laced set with a cut, cropped shirt. This was a solo walk rather than the group setting she was in the first time.

“I would always watch the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and always dreamed that I, one day, could possibly be a model,” Reese told Vogue. Now, she’s got her wings.

This is the latest installment in Reese’s emergence in the fashion world. She was most recently front and center for the Met Gala, which she has attended for the last two years. The event occurred before a Chicago Sky preseason game, which led to come criticism for Reese and her commitment to her team.

Reese went on to play 30 games during the Sky’s regular season, averaging a double-double for the second year in a row. She averaged 14.7 points and 12.6 rebounds during that stretch, including 3.7 assists per game and 1.5 steals.

Her season hasn’t been without its controversy. Drama heated up last month between Reese and the Sky, as she — along with some of her teammates — were not available for Chicago’s annual exit interviews.

That came after the Sky suspended Reese for the first half of a Sept. 7 game against the Las Vegas Aces for comments she made about her teammates in a story published in the Chicago Tribune. The newspaper reported that Reese said she did not think Hailey Van Lith or Rachel Banham were capable of leading the charge for a playoff team. She also called out (Courtney) Vandersloot in a quote, citing her age as a factor.

Eventually, Angel Reese was ruled out entirely for that Sept. 7 contest due to a back injury. She sat out the last two games of the season, which has lead to speculation about her future with the franchise.

What her future looks like in Chicago remains to be seen. Though, She has become one of the most dominant bigs in the association in the last two seasons. It’s clear that Reese wants to be just as impactful on the runway.
