Bears-Vikings delayed after chain gang official collapses in scary scene

The Bears-Vikings game on Sunday evening was delayed after a chain gang official collapsed to the ground, part of a scary scene in the overtime session. He was taken into the medical tent, and they brought a replacement chain gang member on the sidelines, so that the game could continue.
There wasn’t much information on the status of the chain gang member as of late Sunday evening. The good news is an NFL game is one of the best places on Earth to have to deal with a medical issue, as some of the finest medical personnel in the world are on hand.
Meanwhile, the Bears-Vikings game was an absolute classic, with Minnesota winning 30-27. Sam Darnold threw for 330 yards and two touchdowns and Caleb Williams threw for 340 yards and two touchdowns. Williams also tacked on 33 yards on the ground. He also finally had a great game with receiver DJ Moore, who hauled in seven catches for 106 yards and a touchdown.

Vikings receiver Jordan Addison had another great game, hauling in eight catches for 162 yards and a touchdown. Sam Darnold led Minnesota on a game-winning drive in overtime, helping the Vikings (9-2 overall) to remain one game behind Detroit in the NFC North.
Vikings linebacker Ivan Pace Jr. (hamstring) and left tackle Cam Robinson (foot) left the game in the first quarter. Minnesota safety Jay Ward was also banged up. Darnold missed two plays with a foot injury. Up next, the Vikings will host Arizona next Sunday. The Bears will visit the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving.
