The playoffs are in full swing with the College Football Playoffs. And the NFL Playoffs are about to get underway this weekend. On the Thursday edition of PTI on ESPN, Tony Kornheiser and Mike Wilbon welcomed Booger McFarland on the show to share his thoughts on the CFP and the NFL Playoffs. McFarland thinks the Philadelphia Eagles are officially on upset alert.

The Packers-Eagles game is the most intriguing of all the first-round matchups for McFarland.

“It’s gotta be the Packers at Eagles. That game intrigues me so much. You’re talking about the youngest football team in the league in the Green Bay Packers. A team that is super talented. And I get it. They’re do-it-all wideout Christian Watson. He’s out with an ACL,” McFarland explained.

“But they’re loaded at the wide receiver position. Now, it’s all gonna depend on Jordan Love. He hit the funny bone. By all accounts, he’s gonna be fine. He’s gonna start. He’ll be okay. The Philadelphia Eagles and you look at Jalen Hurts. He’s coming off a concussion. Is he gonna be ready to play? We know he’s practicing. But is he gonna be able to be at peak level not having played in a couple of weeks? I think the Eagles could be rusty,” McFarland continued.

“And on top of that, here’s the key to it also, Mike. Remember, the Packers did this last year. They went on the road, went into Dallas, and beat the Cowboys. They didn’t just beat the Cowboys. They beat the hell out of the Cowboys. So, here is a Green Bay Packer team that is young, they’re super talented, they’re hungry. They understand how talented they are. And I think they are just young enough and ornery enough to go into Philadelphia and deal with everything with the Philadelphia Eagles. Bring it and get an upset,” McFarland noted.

The Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers are set to face off on Sunday January, 12th. The game will be played in Philadelphia in Lincoln Financial Field. Kick is set for 4:30 PM EST and the game will be nationally televised on FOX.
