Brad Keselowski delivered an explanation for why RFK Racing takes a different approach to sponsorship than many of the other teams in the NASCAR Cup Series.

Instead of one major sponsor for each car, RFK has spread their sponsors out among all of their drivers, with their stable including Keselowski as an owner-driver, Chris Buescher and Ryan Preece in 2025. That’s led to some questions of whether that’s beneficial to each wheelman, and evidently there’s a method to the madness.

“We get a lot of questions about why we do this at @RFKracing,” Keselowski posted on X. “Mainly 2 reasons. 1) Our partners get more value due to increased access to our team with all 3 drivers and cars.

“2) Our employees have increased assurance that if a sponsor leaves, we are significantly less vulnerable to not being able to fund a team.”

As you can tell, that’s a sound strategy from RFK. While it’s certainly a unique way of doing things, it’s something that’s worked for their team over the past couple of seasons. As long as the sponsor is ending up in contention for victories, they’re going to be satisfied.

Time will tell if RFK Racing and Brad Keselowski continue the strategy, or if they eventually opt for a more unique branding on each of their three cars. For now, they’re one for all, all for one, as it pertains to sponsorship.

King’s Hawaiian expected to leave Brad Keselowski, RFK Racing ahead of 2025 season

In other news, King’s Hawaiian will be leaving RFK Racing as a sponsor before the start 2025 NASCAR season. The two have partnered for a number of years. Fans will remember the bright orange paint schemes for their Despicable Me and Guardians of the Galaxy collaborations.

King’s Hawaiian mostly sponsored Brad Keselowski over the last three years. Now they will be moving the branding for their soft and sweet dinner rolls to another NASCAR organization.

As Adam Stern of Sports Business Journal reports the change is mostly due to the new Kroger sponsorship for RFK Racing. That deal will mean Kroger will have co-sponsored cars with many of their own vendor partners.

Bimbo Bakeries USA, which makes everything from English muffins to hot dog buns, Sara Lee brad, and Entenmann’s donuts and baked treats is a partner of Kroger Racing. We have seen those brands and more on the JTG Daugherty, now HYAK Motorsports, No. 47 car in the past.

According to Stern, King’s Hawaiian is searching for another NASCAR partner for 2025. However, there is a possibility that the company will leave the sport if they are unable to find a team to work with.

The owner of King’s Hawaiian is Irresistible Foods Group. That company also owns Grillo’s Pickles which is a sponsor of Front Row Motorsports and Todd Gilliland.
