Bradley Bozeman wipes out Saints defensive lineman after dirty play on Justin Herbert

Things got chippy in the first half of the Saints-Chargers game on Sunday, when Saints defensive lineman Nathan Shepherd deliberately tried to twist Justin Herbert’s leg as he was standing up straight. Chargers’ offensive lineman Bradley Bozeman came to his rescue, absolutely leveling Shepherd once he saw what was happening.
It wouldn’t be surprising at all to see him receive a hefty fine from the league. Plenty of people on social media were calling for him to be fined/suspended for the rest of the season. We’ll have to see what the officials at the NFL decide.
The Chargers took care of business against the Saints, whipping them 26-8. Their overall record improved to 4-3 in the first year of the Jim Harbaugh era. Next up, they’ll face the Cleveland Browns. That one will take place on Sunday, November 3rd. Kick is set for 1:00 PM EST and the game will be televised on CBS.
Bozeman was originally drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the 2018 NFL Draft. He played in 14 games as a rookie, starting one game, against the New Orleans Saints, at left guard. In 2021, he made the shift to being their starting center.

From 2022-2024, Bozeman spent time with the Carolina Panthers, before he was released by the franchise on March 13th, 2024. He signed with the LA Chargers on March 18th, 2024.
Bozeman played his collegiate career at Alabama, and began his time in the NFL after being selected with the No. 215 overall pick in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens. He started just one game as a rookie in 2018, but then started all 48 games in Baltimore over the next three seasons.
