With his start in practice today at Toledo, Brenden “Butterbean” Queen has clinched the 2025 ARCA Menards Series championship. Tonight’s race at Toledo is the only thing left to finish in the year. Tonight, he hoists a trophy one way or another.

Butterbean Queen entered Toledo with an 85-point cushion. Since he made an attempt to start in practice and was able to run laps, he is going to have a spot in the race, and that means he’s clinched the title.

Lavar Scott will once again finish as the runner-up this season in the championship. From the CARS Tour to ARCA and next year to the Truck or Xfinity Series. Queen is only getting started, folks.

Max Reaves is going to start on the pole tonight. That is no big deal for Butterbean Queen. At least, as far as the championship is concerned. It makes his job of winning the race easier. He can go out and hang loose and take risks without worrying about Lavar Scott taking the championship away.

Coming off of back-to-back wins for the first time this season, Butterbean is looking to make it three straight. Toledo is a track that should fit Queen’s driving style. He is a winner on all sorts of tracks – Superspeedway, intermediate, short track, dirt track – all he is missing is a road course win.

During the season, we have seen Queen develop. He is an older driver for the ARCA Menards Series. But his experience and talent have been on full display all season long. It is clear that he is talented enough to make it into the higher ranks of NASCAR.

Butterbean Queen hoping to make one more Waffle House stop

After every single win, Butterbean Queen makes it a mission to find the nearest Waffle House and party it up. He’s taken his CARS Tour North Wilkesboro trophy into a Waffle House; most of his ARCA wins have been followed by trips to the late-night diner. So, what’s one more trip?

No matter what happens in the race, you can argue that Queen has an excuse to go regardless. So, the folks on the Pinnacle Racing Group 28 team better be hungry for waffles. They will be on Queen tonight.

Let’s not forget that Butterbean just had his best race in a high series. Queen took over the 11 car for Kaulig Racing in the Xfinity Series. He qualified in the top-10 and then finished P9. Could he be headed for the Xfinity Series next season, or perhaps be one of the five Dodge Truck Series drivers?

A big day for Butterbean Queen. It can only get better from here with a race win at Toledo.
