Brenden ‘Butterbean’ Queen is moving on up in the stock car ladder. He will race the 2025 ARCA Menards Series season with Pinnacle Racing Group. He moves from Toyota in his late model career to Chevy for his first taste of ARCA action.

Butterbean Queen is the 2024 CARS Tour Late Model Stock champion. In his late model career, Queen has turned heads. At 27 years old, he will be one of the older drivers in the ARCA Menards Series, but he will be one to watch.

Pinnacle Racing Group is the top Chevy team in ARCA. Last year they won multiple races with Connor Zilisch and Connor Mosack. Butterbean is going to have a car that can compete for wins every single week.

If you don’t think Queen is going to be competitive next year, then you haven’t seen the guy race. He is the next one up from the grassroots ranks that deserves a national series ride, even if it is just ARCA. For now.

The driver was happy to share the news today with his fans. He thanked all involved from Chevy to his sponsors and of course, Shane Huffman and PRG.

Butterbean Queen is talented. He has a ton of experience in short-track racing. I expect him to be able to compete based on his experience and the fact he is in one of these PRG cars.

Tracks like Berlin, Elko, Dover, Madison, Bristol, Salem, and Toledo will all be right in his alley. I would expect him to learn quickly on the larger ovals as well. We still don’t know who is going to be in the Venturini or Joe Gibbs cars, but Queen will be right there.

Butterbean Queen is going to bring short track racing to ARCA

When you have guys like Dale Earnhardt Jr. endorsing your talents, then you are bound to find a ride somewhere. Queen has impressed a lot of NASCAR drivers and beaten them in plenty of races as well.

He is a South Carolina 400 winner, a three-time Hampton Heat winner, and his 2023 season included a Thanksgiving All-Star Classic victory on top of a win in the Battle of the Stars. He put up a top-5 result at North Wilkesboro in the Truck Series as well in 2024.

I do not think that Queen will win every race. Toyota will have its best development drivers in top equipment. They always do. But with his short track experience, he will have a step up on the competition at a few tracks.

There are a lot more dominoes to fall in the ARCA Menards Series. But with Butterbean Queen driving the Pinnacle No. 28, there is one top driver already named for the 2025 season.
