An absolutely dominating performance for Brent Crews and the No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing team in the ARCA race at Bristol. Crews had to fend off Tristan McKee and Brenden Queen in overtime to secure his fourth win of the season in the series.

Brent Crews is going to be racing tonight in the Truck Series as well. The 17-year-old is showing off his talents early and often in ARCA. Is there a possibility that he could follow up his win with another tonight?

The race win went to Crews. Isaac Kitzmiller claimed the ARCA Menards Series East championship. 16 years old and an ARCA East champ? That’s major for Kitzmiller.

A big win for Crews, a big championship for Kitzmiller. More action from Bristol is coming up later tonight.

When a driver leads over 200 laps, it’s a butt whooping. That’s exactly what Brent Crews did tonight at Bristol to this ARCA field. It was a big field, too for an East race. With Cleetus McFarland and a host of others in the race, it was tricky to go through lapped traffic.

Tristan McKee surged late in the race to cut the lead to less than two seconds. However, it was clear that Crews wasn’t going to give up the lead unless he was moved from the lead.

With the win, Joe Gibbs Racing claimed the owners championship in the East. Max Reaves, Brent Crews, and William Sawalich teamed up this season to claim it for the 18-team.

Brent Crews has more work to do at Bristol

If there was going to be an answer for Toyota and Joe Gibbs Racing to Connor Zilisch at Chevy and Trackhouse in the next few years, Brent Crews is it. Right now, there are a number of drivers in the 16 to 20 year old range who are coming up through the ranks. If a few pan out how many in the industry believe they will, we could be seeing the new future stars of the sport developing.

In tonight’s race, Crews beat McKee. McKee is only 15 years old and won’t be racing full-time in NASCAR until 2029 at the earliest. He doesn’t turn 18 until August of the 2028 season. But these are the drivers that Chevy, Toyota, and Ford are going to be looking at for the future.

Zilisch has set the bar high or young drivers hoping to make the Cup Series in the next five years. His talent and skill has challenged the Xfinity Series this season, and drivers like Crews will be chasing after him.

Brent Crews has work to do tonight in the Truck Series race. Will we see him pull off an upset in the playoff race and win his first career race in the series?
