After midrace adjustments, Brent Crews owned the second half of the ARCA Menards Series race at Indianapolis Raceway Park. Crews was an early DNF last week at Dover, but picked up his second win of the year in the national series.

Brenden Queen appeared to be on his way to another dominating victory. However, he couldn’t get it done today. His adjustments were not the right ones, and while he started to pick up speed late in the race after falling to P5, he was only able to race to P3 at he finish.

The Joe Gibbs Racing No. 18 car is back in Victory Lane. Brent Crews has two wins on the season. Now, he goes on to the Truck Series race where he will face off with Butterbean once again.

Brent Crews is only 17 years old, and he is one of the top prospects in NASCAR. Tonight’s Truck Series race will be a big test for him in an early stage in his career. Crews has gone up against Butterbean Queen multiple times this season, and this is the second time he’s gotten the best of the CARS Tour champion in 2025.

Toyota and JGR see Crews as a Connor Zilisch-esque prospect. Someone who can change an organization, potentially define an era. Generational talent. Tonight was a good example of why the industry feels that way about Crews.

Brent Crews will be full-time in 2026

It is more or less a guarantee that Brent Crews is going to be a full-time driver in the Truck or Xfinity Series next year. His talent speaks for itself. A dirt racer who has exceptional speed on road courses and, of course, short tracks.

When it comes to intermediate tracks, it likely won’t be long before he catches on there, too. Crews is a serious prospect that will be around for many years if everything pans out. Not every “next big thing” actually ends up working out, but Crews feels like he has what it takes.

Today was a fun ARCA race. There was a large field. Indianapolis always brings out the drivers and fans, racing is what that city is about. Brent Crews gets the win, and Butterbean Queen continues to lead the national series points standings.
