Caitlin Clark continues to break records despite not being on the court at the moment due to a groin injury. This time she’s doing it in the card collecting space.

Clark set the record for the highest amount paid for the sports card of a female athlete in July when her 2024 Rookie Royalty WNBA Flawless Logowoman one-of-one card sold for $660,000. Now less than a month after that, another card sold for six figures.

Clark’s 2024 Panini Instant Rookie Royalty Immaculate Logowoman one-of-one card sold for $317,200 in an auction that ended on Saturday. It featured an autograph from Clark, of course, and a WNBA official jersey patch.

The card was the 11th public sale surpassing six figures for a Clark card. The card that sold Saturday was the third-highest ever and is one of three limited edition Immaculate Logowoman cards released through Panini America’s 2024 Rookie Royalty WNBA set

In addition to featuring Logowoman patches, which are among the most desirable pieces of memorabilia in the trading card industry, the trio of cards each represent one of Panini’s most high-end products — Flawless, Immaculate and National Treasures. The third card from the Logowoman trio, a National Treasures Rookie Patch Autograph, will sell in Fanatics Collect’s August Premier Auction later this month.

The No. 1 pick out of Iowa last season, Clark went on to win Rookie of the Year and set the WNBA single-season record for assists. She was also the first rookie in league history to record a triple-double, and she did it twice.

It was certainly a memorable rookie year and those cards should only go up in value if Caitlin Clark continues that trajectory for her career. She’s unfortunately been limited to injury in her second year, missing 19 games already.

Caitlin Clark injury update: Stephanie White reveals star guard still not practicing, increased individual workout load

Clark has still not yet returned to practice as she continues to deal with a right groin injury, per Indiana Fever coach Stephanie White. Clark has missed the past 10 games and is without a timetable to return.

However, White did offer a positive update in that Clark has been able to increase her workload in terms of what she can do away from the practice court. It’s been a slow process, but she is at least inching in the right direction.

“She’s been able to get a little bit more of her full-court running with all of her body weight,” White said Monday. “It’s really building up from doing minimal to then building some endurance to do longer periods of time. She’s been able to do a little bit more on the court in terms of how she moves, but not into practice yet.”

It’s been a tough season for Clark in terms of injuries. In addition to the right groin injury she is dealing with now, she also missed two weeks in June because of a groin injury on her left side. Prior to her injury this season, Clark was averaging 16.5 points, 8.8 assists and 5.0 rebounds per game while shooting 27.9% from 3-point range.
