Calvin Ridley injury update: Titans WR carted off field vs. Texans

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley was carted to the locker room in the first quarter of Sunday’s Week 11 home contest against the Houston Texans. Ridley suffered what appeared to be an ankle injury after being tackled following a 13-yard reception. He is questionable to return.
Ridley, 30, was playing in his first game in over a month. He missed three games with a hamstring injury, an extended absence for Tennessee’s top pass catcher.

Ridley has now played in seven games this season, entering Sunday’s game with 16 catches for 290 yards. The former Alabama star has three career 1,000-yard seasons, his last coming in 2024, his first season as a Titan. Quarterback Cam Ward was looking forward to Ridley’s return.
“It feels good [to see Ridley practicing],” Ward said earlier this week, via the Nashville Post. “Just from a receiver standpoint, we get the best guy in our receiver room, with experience and just the way he can take a defense over the top. That’s something we’ve missed… without [Ridley]. We do a lot of stuff gameplan wise for [Ridley], so it’s good to have one of our best receivers back, and he’s ready to make some plays.”
