Chicago Bears vs. Minnesota Vikings: Week 1 'ManningCast' guest list revealed

Peyton Manning and Eli Manning are back for a fifth season of ESPN2‘s “ManningCast.” The Manning brothers will make their 2025 debut for the Week 1 “Monday Night Football” matchup between the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings.
This will be the first of 12 alternate broadcasts this season, and the guest list is stacked. Omaha Productions announced that Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley, Pro Football Hall of Fame wide receiver Randy Moss and Golden Globes Award-winning actor Bill Murray will join the broadcast throughout the game.
The ‘ManningCast’ is back with a loaded guest lineup
Barkley, the reigning NFL Offensive Player of the Year, is fresh off leading the Eagles to a 24-20 Week 1 victory over the Dallas Cowboys this past Thursday. Barkley wasn’t his usual dominant self — 18 carries for 60 yards — but his 10-yard rushing touchdown late in the second quarter wound up being the game-winning score. This will be Barkley’s second appearance on the ManningCast. He appeared on the program in 2022, and he was once a teammate of Eli Manning on the New York Giants.
Like Barkley, Moss once appeared on the ManningCast in 2022. He is one of the greatest Vikings of all-time, having spent eight seasons across two stints in Minnesota throughout his career. Moss, the Vikings’ second all-time leading receiver, also works as an ESPN NFL analyst. He made his return Sunday to the network’s pregame show following a battle with Stage 2 bile duct cancer. He rang the bell Friday, signaling the completion of his cancer treatment.

“I want to thank everybody here at this hospital for welcoming me to be a part of their, of their extended family,” Moss told the staff at Atrium Health, where he went through his treatment. “I’ve told y’all this before, y’all do a great job of taking care of people. I know it’s an emotional moment, but I thank you all. God bless you.”
Murray, the “Caddyshack” and “Groundhog Day” star, is a lifelong Chicago sports fan. This will be his first ManningCast appearance. Sunday, he took in the action at World Wide Technology Raceway in Illinois for the Round of 16 NASCAR Cup Series playoff race.
Monday night, he’ll be locked in on his Bears, who are ushering in a new era. Ben Johnson is making his head coaching debut, and he has a tough matchup ahead of him against Brian Flores‘ Vikings defense.
