Chris Jones injury update: Chiefs star leaves Super Bowl LIX with non-contact ailment

Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones has left Super Bowl LIX after suffering an injury in the third quarter. Jones went down with the Philadelphia Eagles driving and threatening to score again midway through the quarter.
Jones was seen grabbing at high right knee as trainers rushed over to check him out. A timeout was then called as he made his way off the field to be evaluated further.

It was later reported that Jones is doubtful to return to the contest. He ended the game with just one quarterback pressure as the Chiefs were completely dominated from start to finish. They trailed 37-6 with 8:04 remaining at the time of this writing.
Jones has played all nine seasons of his pro career with the Chiefs after being drafted to the team in 2016.
