Cleveland Browns RB D’Onta Foreman airlifted to hospital after injury, team issues statement

The Cleveland Browns have released a statement following the scary injury to running back D’Onta Foreman during Thursday’s training camp practice. Foreman had to leave the practice field on a stretcher following a hit to the neck and shoulder area. According to Browns’ statement, which can be seen below, the running back is on his way to a Medical Center for further evaluation.

“During practice today, Browns RB D’Onta Foreman sustained a direct blow to the head that resulted in neck pain. The Browns athletic training staff deployed their standard emergency action procedures to immobilize Foreman. He was taken to an ambulance and is being transported via helicopter to a Medical Center in Roanoke, VA, to undergo further medical evaluation. Foreman had movement in all his extremities. Updates will be provided as more information is received,” read the statement released by the Browns via X.
