What’s new? Corey Heim is once again on the pole in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. He lines up next to Layne Riggs. This season has been all about Heim and Riggs this season with a heavy dose of Heim. So, it only makes sense that we see the two on the front row today.

The NASCAR Truck Series Playoffs continue this weekend. Unlike the Xfinity and Cup Series, this is not an elimination race. Still, this race will help set up the Truck Series for their eventual elimination ahead of Phoenix.

Corey Heim showed that he is once again the man to beat. Brent Crew and Connor Zilisch are the special guests in this race. They will be ones to watch, as well as the usual truckers like Heim and Riggs.

Brent Crews and Connor Zilisch are definitely ones to watch in this race. You also have Corey LaJoie in there in the 77 truck. He could shock the field with a great performance. Out of the drivers in the Truck Series Playoffs, Rajah Caruth was the worst in qualifying. He will start P18 this afternoon. Full results below:

This track is going to test these drivers. The Roval is not an easy track to get through as a driver, and with it being a new venue for most of these drivers, that is only going to increase the chances for chaos.

This is the first race of the Round of 8 for the Truck Series. Corey Heim has won four of the last five races of the season. If he wins one more race this year, he will reach 10 total on the season and own the single-season wins record for the series.

Corey Heim continues to dominate Truck Series

At this point, I don’t expect anyone to win these Truck Series races that isn’t in the 11 or the 34 truck. Outside of that, it will take a non-full-time driver to come in and shake things up. Well, we might just have that today with Crews and Zilisch.

The domination that we have seen from Heim is unmatched. Really, the only comparison is Zilisch in the Xfinity Series this season. The way those two have separated themselves and proven that they are ready for a job on Sundays has made this season very fun. You just have to sit back and appreciate the greatness.

Today, Heim is going for his fifth straight road course win in the Truck Series. The series went from a single road course race in both 2023 and 2024 to a total of three this season. Heim’s winning streak on the road courses goes back to Mid-Ohio in 2023 and his latest win came at Watkins Glen a few weeks ago.

So, Corey Heim is on top of the Truck Series field once again. Can he stay on top through the race this afternoon and claim another win on the road?
