CeeDee Lamb reflects on recovering from shoulder injury: 'Grateful to have two arms'

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb opened up about recovering from a shoulder injury he suffered last year. This week, Lamb said rehabbing the AC joint injury was a long journey.
“The longest [rehab]. I want to say a good five months of real recovery and rehab,” Lamb said, via Schuyler Dixon of the Associated Press (via Pro Football Talk). “I don’t know. I’m grateful to have two arms. I can tell you that.”
CeeDee Lamb suffered the shoulder injury during the Cowboys’ Week 9 loss against the Atlanta Falcons last season. He played in seven more games until the Cowboys shut him down for the final two games of the year. The former Oklahoma star finished the season with 101 receptions, 1,194 yards and six touchdowns.
Having a healthy Lamb is going to be huge for the Cowboys this year. The team recently traded for George Pickens, which gives Dallas another dangerous weapon on offense. This week, Lamb spoke to reporters about the addition of Pickens.

“Giving him the little things that I learned as far as my first year in the league and just passing him what I could while I could,” Lamb said of their first interactions, per the Cowboys’ official website. “It’s crazy how these come full circle, having him on the team now, we’re catching up on everything that we left off.”

Lamb added, “We compliment each other very well. He’s a tall figure, his ability to go up and get the ball at the highest point is amazing… He’s up there with the [best] guys in the league as far as 50/50 balls, deep threat, anything as far as running routes, it’s pretty good. It’s good to see.”
Shortly after the trade, Pickens revealed how he first met Lamb. “Just training,” Pickens said. “No recruiting visits or anything like that, but all of us receivers kind of have certain trainers and some of us have the same trainers, so definitely training together previously.”
“CeeDee is a super dynamic receiver, super dynamic person, player,” Pickens added. “I just feel like schematically you won’t be able to double everybody, so that’ll be a great thing for me and him.”
