Dak Prescott, DeMarcus Lawrence send warning to Arizona Cardinals

Suffice to say, Dak Prescott, DeMarcus Lawrence and the Dallas Cowboys were not pleased with their performance on Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals.
The Cowboys managed just 301 yards of total offense against the Cardinals, while committing 10 penalties for 88 yards, and turned the ball over once, which ultimately resulted in a comeback that fell just short. Dallas, which trailed at one point in the third quarter 22-7, scored 15 fourth-quarter points, but the Cardinals’ nailed a field goal on their penultimate drive to end the game 25-22.
Prescott, who finished the game with 24 completions in 38 passing attempts, good for 226 passing yards and three passing touchdowns while rushing five times for 20 yards, thinks the playoff-bound cowboys have unfinished business against the Cardinals.
“Definitely disappointed we didn’t come away with the win but damned sure not discouraged,” Prescott said. “I know the team we have, what we’ve got. Just simply didn’t get it done as a team, starting with myself, (I’ve) got to be better. All of us, we’ve got to look at ourselves in the mirror and find a way to come out with a win in a game like this.
“We’ll see them again,” Prescott said, alluding to the Cowboys being ready to face the Cardinals in the playoffs.

As it stands, the Cowboys’ projected first-round matchup would be a rematch with Kyler Murray and the Cardinals. Prescott made it seem like he’s ready, and Lawrence echoed those claims.
“Damn right,” Lawrence said, when asked if the Cowboys want to face the Cardinals again. “They came out and gave us their best shot tonight. We came out and competed, and shoot, we just going to get better from it. But if we see them again, they gonna get it all from us.”
Kyler Muray led the Arizona Cardinals offense behind 26 completions in 38 passing attempts, good for 263 passing yards and two touchdowns. Meanwhile, Murray rushed for 44 yards on nine carries. One of his top targets on the day, A.J. Green, may have only had three receptions, but Green finished with 74 receiving yards on the day, second-most on the team and trailing only Christian Kirk’s six catches for 79 yards. Perhaps more impressively, Green’s 74 receiving yards came against Trevon Diggs, the Cowboys’ Pro Bowl cornerback who has broken numerous interceptions records in his sophomore NFL season.
After the loss to the Cardinals, the Cowboys have just one regular-season game left on tap, an away game against the Eagles on Saturday night, but many of the Cowboys’ stars figure to be resting for the matchup.
