Dale Earnhardt Jr. makes cryptic Budweiser post, gets reaction from company

Dale Earnhardt Jr. could be teasing fans with his latest social media post that includes Budweiser. On Tuesday night, the 50-year-old NASCAR legend went to X to share a photo of him in a Budweiser fire suit looking at a Budweiser can that includes his No. 8 car and his signature. This led to Budweiser responding to the post with the eyes emoji.
What does this all mean? Is Dale Jr. making a return in the No. 8 Budweiser car? Only time will tell, but fans of Earnhardt enjoyed watching him in the Bud car when he was competing for Dale Earnhardt Inc. from 1999 to 2007. He won multiple races driving the car, including the 2004 Daytona 500.
When Earnhardt retired from full-time racing in 2017, he wrote, “My years with Bud were amazing. They taught me so much and I can not measure the impact they had on my professional career. Great song choice too guys!”
Dale Earnhardt Jr. has been loyal to Budweiser for a long time. In June, the two-time Daytona 500 winner talked about how his favorite beer, Budweiser Select 55, is ranked the worst beer in he world by Beer Advocate.

“That’s amazing,” Earnhardt said on Dale Jr. Download. “I’ve worked for Budweiser for almost 10 years. When you have that kind of relationship with Budweiser, they put me on this deal where I still get beer. The beer truck comes by every so often, once a month or whatever, and drops off a few cases. When I became a dad and I got a little bit older, I still love to drink beer …But I didn’t always want to be intoxicated, not all the time.”
Earnhardt later said, “They have half of the alcohol, they’re 2.4 I think. I’ll get up in the morning when I’m on vacation, I’ll have a beer at 10:00 in the morning. Ain’t nobody gonna tell me what time I can drink. I’ll drink what I want. I’m going to drink some days during the summer or whenever, I’m going to drink all day. You can drink those 55s from the time you get up to the time you go to bed. They have half the alcohol and half the calories and still be functional in the back half of the day.”
