Although Dallas lost several key players in the offseason, they are still poised to double-digit games for the second season in a row. One of the key factors to this belief is the Cowboys’ strength of schedule. NFL.com has Dallas tied for first, with the easiest schedule heading into the 2022 season. The Cowboys’ opponents this season have a combined one percentage in 2021 of .462 percent. Along with their division, Dallas will face off against the NFC North and AFC South. All three of the divisions mentioned are considered to be in the bottom echelons of the NFL.
Cowboy fans might not like big is dropping their line after picking up 12 wins last season, but it is understandable. Dallas lost star receiver Amari Cooper after trading him away to the Cleveland Browns. They also parted ways with receiver Cedric Wilson and tackle La’el Collins. Wilson signed with the Dolphins, and Collins headed up north to the Bengals.
