The Dallas Cowboys celebrated its 2025 schedule reveal by hosting ‘America’s Stream’ throughout the day leading up to the 8 p.m. ET release. During the stream, fans might have noticed a few props in the background of the release.

That’s because the Cowboys strategically hid clues revealing the identity of the team’s opponents throughout the season. Some of the best featured a block of cheese for the Green Bay Packers, a literal cardboard cutout for the Denver Broncos — and most hilariously — a spying coach for the Los Angeles Chargers. Fans can watch the total reveal below:

Now that the Cowboys’ schedule is set, fans will be able to dissect their matchups and put together potential end-of-year records for their favorite team. It appears that the team will have a lighter start to the season, seeing just two teams (Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers) that made the playoffs last season during the first six weeks of the year.

Dallas’ schedule will pick up during the later stages of the regular season, which won’t come as a surprise if that stretch is the deciding factor in the Cowboys’ potential playoff push. Beginning in Week 12, Dallas will host the Eagles and Chiefs in consecutive matchups, then travel to the Lions, and return home to play the Vikings and Chargers before playing the Commanders on the road for Week 17. They’ll round out the regular season at the New York Giants, but by then the Cowboys’ playoff hopes may already have been sealed.

Whether Dallas will be in a position to be in the playoffs in the first place may be predicated on the health of franchise quarterback Dak Prescott. During Week 9 of last season, Prescott injured his hamstring against the Atlanta Falcons and ended up requiring surgery. He hasn’t played since but it appears that the Cowboys QB doesn’t appear to have experienced any setbacks. Back in March, Prescott said that he didn’t see any reason for his availability for Week 1, and it appears as though he’s on track to start in Week 1 for America’s Team.

The Dallas Cowboys would end up finishing the season 7-10 without Prescott in the lineup for the second half of the season. Dallas would miss the postseason for the first time after three consecutive playoff appearances as their star quarterback rehabbed. They’ll look to turn those fortunes around during the 2025 season.
