Good news for the Cowboys, Tony Pollard, who missed Friday’s practice with an illness, is available. He practiced in full on Wednesday and Thursday. Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb is also available after he was listed as questionable this week with a groin injury. Lamb was limited Friday after missing Thursday’s practice.

The Cowboys are 3-1 to start the year but will need to win every game they can to keep up with the undefeated Philadelphia Eagles. The NFC East rivals go head to head next week on Sunday Night Football. Los Angeles is 2-2 and coming off of a 24-9 beatdown by the 49ers.

Jerry Jones reveals the latest on Cowboys star Dak Prescott

Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is still out of the Dallas lineup with a thumb injury he sustained during Week 1 of the NFL season. With the latest update via Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, it sounds like Prescott will still be questionable after Week 5.

Jones joined 105.3 The Fan on Friday and shared that his grip strength is still weaker than what he needs to play again.

“He is improving and he is gripping it stronger,” Jones said. “Is he able to grip and throw in a way that you would want him to play in a ballgame? No. I don’t know when he will be back out there, but he is improving.”

Luckily for Dallas, the team has played as well or even better than expected since losing Prescott. Since taking the Week 1 loss, they’ve gone 3-0 with wins over the Bengals, Giants and Commanders. They even reached the 20-point threshold in each win with backup QB Cooper Rush under center.
